I turned away for just a moment, and next thing I knew, the chair was pushed over to the light switch and the games had begun!

Hi, there, I’m Courtney. I never planned to stay home with my kids, but I got sucked into motherhood when my first baby came into our lives after years of infertility and multiple rounds of IVF. His brother followed closely behind, something we didn’t plan on after having such a rough road with achieving parenthood the first time around. My boys are IVF cycle twins, conceived on the same day but born two years and one day apart (they were both transferred on the same day in October, but with two years between them). My boys are the best of friends and my husband is a terrific husband, father, and most importantly… friend. He fully supported my desire to stay home (“I just wanted it to be your idea and not mine, I totally want you to stay home and raise our kids!”) and encourages me in everything I do. I am a lover of projects, spreadsheets, fitness, healthy cooking and eating, crafts, selling my stuff on FB (HA!), and the outdoors. If I’m active, I’m pretty darn happy!

Lol! Well….at least you know there’s no short in the electricity. 😉

Yeah – and that the outside light is still good 😉

I might teach HGB this…tired of being commanded to turn lights on or off! Do it yourself, kid!

Also, we have the same chairs. Obviously.

Obviously!

You know, it’s a hazard, but it was nice to see that he could do it himself. I wish he’d picked a different chair (6 to choose from and he chooses the one with his booster seat) but he has good control when he climbs on this one. Now, I just don’t need him pushing it over to the counters to climb up on them 🙂

Haha! Best of luck to you! HGB does that with the table already. The lure of “A PEN!” is strong.

Ha! This is great! what a good problem solver.
Sofia has recently taken an interest in the lights, although luckily for now she’s content just turning them on and then walking away. 🙂

Oh you just wait! Sofi’s time is coming!
April 3, 2013 at 10:08 am
Ahh that little rascal. It’s just beginning isn’t it?

Yep! Today, I caught him in the laundry room, balancing himself on the trash can, pushing the buttons on the dryer. Oh boy!

Raegan loves this. She’s been doing it for weeks….tho she has taken a break since she started walking. She no longer needs the chairs so she’s not pushing them as much. 🙂

So cute, and such a smart boy!

They grow up so fast – as you’re finding out! This will be Cheeks before you know it!
April 3, 2013 at 7:36 pm
LOL! I love it! Though I think this spells trouble for you. 🙂
April 4, 2013 at 9:59 pm
It spells trouble with a capital T!

What could be more fun than a lightswitch!?!

NOTHING!
