It’s been a rough week and a half – a very rough week and a half. But mixed in with the rough spots have been some shining moments – moments worth remembering!

Hi, there, I’m Courtney. I never planned to stay home with my kids, but I got sucked into motherhood when my first baby came into our lives after years of infertility and multiple rounds of IVF. His brother followed closely behind, something we didn’t plan on after having such a rough road with achieving parenthood the first time around. My boys are IVF cycle twins, conceived on the same day but born two years and one day apart (they were both transferred on the same day in October, but with two years between them). My boys are the best of friends and my husband is a terrific husband, father, and most importantly… friend. He fully supported my desire to stay home (“I just wanted it to be your idea and not mine, I totally want you to stay home and raise our kids!”) and encourages me in everything I do. I am a lover of projects, spreadsheets, fitness, healthy cooking and eating, crafts, selling my stuff on FB (HA!), and the outdoors. If I’m active, I’m pretty darn happy!

What great pictures. I’m sorry that your week (plus) has been so rough, but know that I’m thinking of you. Lots. And I know that sweet boy (and your sweet girl!!) help make things better.

He is adorable in that hat! You’d never know you’ve had a rough week after seeing all the pictures – glad you’ve been able to stay busy. I have that same maroon striped shirt – Old Navy, right?

Gap – so yes – pretty much the same thing 😉
Thanks! I cannot believe how cute those little hats are on little boys! I want to buy him MORE! I should get him a navy one… maybe later today. HA!
Hey – I am trying to get to a big consignment thing on Saturday. It’s the season, isn’t it?! SO EXCITED!

Hope you were able to get some good deals if you made it to the consignment sale this past weekend! I’ve sold almost all of the stuff I’ve entered this time which is awesome! Makes up for what I’ve spent in new clothes for Chloe. 🙂

I didn’t make it. B had just gotten back and we wanted to spend the morning together, enjoying snuggle time with Matthew.
That’s GREAT that you’ve sold so much stuff! Was it hard parting with it? I’m going to have a hard time parting with Matthew’s and BB2’s clothes once the time comes. Ugh.

He is such a doll… hopefully he can keep being that bright spot for you, even when everything else is rough. Actually, even better – hopefully everything just starts looking up!

Thank you! I agree, things need to turn around! But yes, he’s a very bright spot!
Welcome home, by the way!
