Hell has frozen over in our house. This has NEVER happened. The big one does not like the little one at all. I actually feared for my life a little bit when the little one hopped up and the big one hissed at her. This was an hour ago – and they’re still going strong. Maybe things are changing around here?

Self-portrait because I feared if I got up to take the photo of them, that one would get down. Disregard my horrid appearance.

An hour later… still snuggled up!

Hi, there, I’m Courtney. I never planned to stay home with my kids, but I got sucked into motherhood when my first baby came into our lives after years of infertility and multiple rounds of IVF. His brother followed closely behind, something we didn’t plan on after having such a rough road with achieving parenthood the first time around. My boys are IVF cycle twins, conceived on the same day but born two years and one day apart (they were both transferred on the same day in October, but with two years between them). My boys are the best of friends and my husband is a terrific husband, father, and most importantly… friend. He fully supported my desire to stay home (“I just wanted it to be your idea and not mine, I totally want you to stay home and raise our kids!”) and encourages me in everything I do.
I am a lover of projects, spreadsheets, fitness, healthy cooking and eating, crafts, selling my stuff on FB (HA!), and the outdoors. If I’m active, I’m pretty darn happy!

Yay! We have 2 cats, 1 is an almost 10 year old female and the other a almost 2 year old male. Our female older cat pretty much hates the male, I would love for them to finally lay together like yours. 🙂 I’m thinking of your friend who you wrote about yesterday.

So funny! Oh I miss cats!!! I always had them, and suffered through my severe allergies to them. Finally my last cat died a few years ago and I stopped having to take a claritin every day. But there’s something about their cuddles and warmth, especially at night, that I crave! I love how temperamental they be, and then one day love each other. Just like your pic – so cute!!!

Happy cats = happy humans! Your kitties are adorable, by the way, and your great big grin that there is peace and harmony between them is priceless!

Aww nice to see your two kitties getting along! We have two that are siblings and the best of buddies. I love watching them cuddle and lick eachother.

I think they’re putting their sibling rivalry aside for the good of the family… a glimpse into things to come… 😉
