So this Monday’s snapshot is not about Matthew, and it’s not about parenting, and it’s not about IF. It’s about ME!
This is my latest project… or… these are my latest projects. They’re not even half done, but they will be done this week and up for sale soon on Etsy. Mama’s making this family some (a little) money. HA!

This post is part of PAIL’s weekly series, The Monday Snapshot. Please head over to meet our guest host of this week, Mrs. Gamgee! To join in, click on the link and add in your post!

Hi, there, I’m Courtney. I never planned to stay home with my kids, but I got sucked into motherhood when my first baby came into our lives after years of infertility and multiple rounds of IVF. His brother followed closely behind, something we didn’t plan on after having such a rough road with achieving parenthood the first time around. My boys are IVF cycle twins, conceived on the same day but born two years and one day apart (they were both transferred on the same day in October, but with two years between them). My boys are the best of friends and my husband is a terrific husband, father, and most importantly… friend. He fully supported my desire to stay home (“I just wanted it to be your idea and not mine, I totally want you to stay home and raise our kids!”) and encourages me in everything I do.
I am a lover of projects, spreadsheets, fitness, healthy cooking and eating, crafts, selling my stuff on FB (HA!), and the outdoors. If I’m active, I’m pretty darn happy!

Funny, my husband has invoked a, “nothing comes into this house unless something goes out,” rule for all things holiday. So now I just make my stuff. 😉

I like your husband’s rule, I need to obey that. My MIL used to work for Hallmark (she just retired this summer), but she would give us SOOO many Christmas decorations! It was awesome, but my house isn’t big enough for all of that, especially with little hands in the mix though. Those letters are adorable though! I hope you sell lots and lots!

Love them!! I just checked out your shop and you are so creative!! The letters are all beautiful, but I’m kinda partial to the vintage Alice in Wonderland and Peter Rabbit ones. Those are wonderful! I’m already thinking who I could get something for…
