There was nothing but silence coming from Matthew’s room for some time, which usually means he’s up to no good 😉

He emptied his book bin (behind the chair) and the box of wipes. When I came in, he was sitting on the floor reading “The Thinks you can Think” with a wipe in each hand.

Hi, there, I’m Courtney. I never planned to stay home with my kids, but I got sucked into motherhood when my first baby came into our lives after years of infertility and multiple rounds of IVF. His brother followed closely behind, something we didn’t plan on after having such a rough road with achieving parenthood the first time around. My boys are IVF cycle twins, conceived on the same day but born two years and one day apart (they were both transferred on the same day in October, but with two years between them). My boys are the best of friends and my husband is a terrific husband, father, and most importantly… friend. He fully supported my desire to stay home (“I just wanted it to be your idea and not mine, I totally want you to stay home and raise our kids!”) and encourages me in everything I do.
I am a lover of projects, spreadsheets, fitness, healthy cooking and eating, crafts, selling my stuff on FB (HA!), and the outdoors. If I’m active, I’m pretty darn happy!

hahaha – silence is either awesome or scary, depending on if they’re sleeping or getting into mischief. at least he was reading, right?! 🙂

Honestly, I love the silent moments because I know he’s exploring on his own and learning! Sure – he’s usually making a mess but I swear he knows more after those little silent ventures!

LOL. That is awesome! He’s just being clean, getting rid of germs, and teaching himself to read. 😉

My friend has a 2 year old that she has to hide all the wipes from- because she will empty that box every time! So funny- but looks like Matthew was getting creative!

I know better than to leave the box out but I keep forgettin to put it up and away. Ugh!

What IS it about the wipes that are so irresistible!?! Sofia likes to suck on them, too.
Also, is that a bumper along the TOP of the crib, too? Smart idea!

It is a crib rail protector. We have it for a very good reason – he was eating his crib once his first teeth came in. I mean – he was a little beaver!

I love that he is like “Oh… I didn’t see you there. What’s up?” LOL!
