Still no AF.
I just finished one beer, and was wanting another. I thought, “let’s just test again for good measure before I have another. You never know.”
But I do know. I always know.
Still a BFN.
Where the hell is it???? I could care less about not being pregnant right now, but holy hell, I am ready to be done with this PMS, or whatever it is.
My left breast hurts. I haven’t nursed since Friday night but the poor-producing left breast has decided to make things difficult while the right, over-producing breast is just drying up like it’s supposed to. Why has the left one decided to be a superstar now when it was such an under-producer for the last year?!?!
I’m done complaining.
Time for another beer. I think I’ll have 6.

Hi, there, I’m Courtney. I never planned to stay home with my kids, but I got sucked into motherhood when my first baby came into our lives after years of infertility and multiple rounds of IVF. His brother followed closely behind, something we didn’t plan on after having such a rough road with achieving parenthood the first time around. My boys are IVF cycle twins, conceived on the same day but born two years and one day apart (they were both transferred on the same day in October, but with two years between them). My boys are the best of friends and my husband is a terrific husband, father, and most importantly… friend. He fully supported my desire to stay home (“I just wanted it to be your idea and not mine, I totally want you to stay home and raise our kids!”) and encourages me in everything I do.
I am a lover of projects, spreadsheets, fitness, healthy cooking and eating, crafts, selling my stuff on FB (HA!), and the outdoors. If I’m active, I’m pretty darn happy!

My period started 3 weeks to the day that Finn was weaned. It took my sister 4 months after weaning each of her boys to start back (!) but I’m hoping you’re more in the “few weeks” category!

Thanks! I’ve already had one – 33 days ago… but I’m sure things are all out of whack because of weaning. We shall see.

you’ll have to have eight beers now. One for me too please. I am still in my pyjamas, 8 months pregnant, and completing our tax returns before “gumby” arrives. I DEFINITELY need a beer, even a vicarious one….

LOL. You know that beer is a natural lactation aid don’t you? I had to take brewers yeast to try and help me make milk. Maybe try hard alcohol instead. 🙂 Try wrapping cabbage around the one breast, I’ve heard that works, probably doesn’t, but think of how sexy that would be. 🙂 Anyway, I’m sorry that AF is such a bitch. She’s avoiding me too and I’m sick of it, and my husband is sick of all my hormonal bitchiness. That’s okay though, in a few days (hopefully) I’ll have AF and be all weepy and want him to hold me. 😉 Doesn’t that make up for it?

I did not care. I really needed an awesome wheat beer. 😉 We found a new microbrew that is comparable to one of our faves that we can’t get in Iowa – and I am IN LOVE WITH IT. I may get fat again because of it. HA!

You know, I did know that I just plain did not care! I used to drink a beer back when we were trying to get my milk supply to increase. HA HA!
I am hormonal too. I used to NEVER be when I was PMS-ing, and I honestly think that I’m just THAT pissed off and not necessarily hormonal. We’ll see. If I do get hormonal now when this AF finally shows up. If I do, everybody better WATCH OUT. Yikes!
