… for a dedicated fitness blog. I know that most of my parenting readers don’t care about my fitness challenges and stats, and the people who follow me for fitness reasons don’t care about my challenges and joys as a parent (or the newly-indoctrinated fashion-obsessed woman I seem to have become). Three health/fitness companies have reached out to me to post for them and I always say no, but I finally said one to one of them and I hesitated a LOT. I don’t want random people reading my parenting/personal blog.
So…
Here’s my fitness blog, in case you want to follow along. I will try to move the fitness stuff from here to there and will probably rarely cross-post. I want to keep the two identities/themes separate!

Hi, there, I’m Courtney. I never planned to stay home with my kids, but I got sucked into motherhood when my first baby came into our lives after years of infertility and multiple rounds of IVF. His brother followed closely behind, something we didn’t plan on after having such a rough road with achieving parenthood the first time around. My boys are IVF cycle twins, conceived on the same day but born two years and one day apart (they were both transferred on the same day in October, but with two years between them). My boys are the best of friends and my husband is a terrific husband, father, and most importantly… friend. He fully supported my desire to stay home (“I just wanted it to be your idea and not mine, I totally want you to stay home and raise our kids!”) and encourages me in everything I do.
I am a lover of projects, spreadsheets, fitness, healthy cooking and eating, crafts, selling my stuff on FB (HA!), and the outdoors. If I’m active, I’m pretty darn happy!

Damnit, I thought you were going to say ‘fashion blog’! 😉
Excited for you!!! You are such an inspiration! Now if only you could come and drag me off my butt and make me do some actual exercise. I am stuck in that “I’ll start next month (then next month, then next month…” rut and have done NOTHING in a long long time. Not even walking for exercise (I do walk around the property/school a decent amount because I have to but that is it). This is getting bad. HELP ME!! But more importantly, yay for your new fitness blog! I am heading over to check it out now.

I’ll still post fashion stuff here! I’m not abandoning this space at all!
I’m starting an 8-week stint between now and NYE. Do it with me!!!

I’m following your new blog now too. I figure I can always use more motivation to keep running and cycling. 🙂

Cool I’ll link in when I’m on the computer. For what it’s worth I like reading both as its more lifestyle, but I get your reasoning. I had a mid season slump with camping 😳 and I feel like I need to do more with thighs. Not as slimmed down as I would like. Going for a good run tomorrow
