    • What a week! I dropped my weekly (sometimes twice weekly) pizza for an awesome bacon salad, and that seems to have made a difference. We’ve also been eating more spinach salads at home for dinner
    • It felt great to lift weights again. It’s been too long!
    • I’ve met my mileage goal both weeks so far, and it’s been quite easy. Running has become my lazy workout and I need to get back to IN.SANITY next week
    • This weekend is going to bring me a couple of outdoor runs. I’m so excited!
    • Safely in the 130’s is so close, I can taste it (137.8 this morning, and safe is 136 or less)!

Hi, there, I’m Courtney. I never planned to stay home with my kids, but I got sucked into motherhood when my first baby came into our lives after years of infertility and multiple rounds of IVF. His brother followed closely behind, something we didn’t plan on after having such a rough road with achieving parenthood the first time around. My boys are IVF cycle twins, conceived on the same day but born two years and one day apart (they were both transferred on the same day in October, but with two years between them). My boys are the best of friends and my husband is a terrific husband, father, and most importantly… friend. He fully supported my desire to stay home (“I just wanted it to be your idea and not mine, I totally want you to stay home and raise our kids!”) and encourages me in everything I do. I am a lover of projects, spreadsheets, fitness, healthy cooking and eating, crafts, selling my stuff on FB (HA!), and the outdoors. If I’m active, I’m pretty darn happy!

  1. You are just killing it!! Great job lady!

  2. I check in from time to time but should really read more regularly because DAMN you are inspiring! You look amazing and must feel so good with all that clean eating & working out. I’m doing really good on the workouts but the food is such a challenge for me—its such a comfort, sometimes the only one. I read your end of 2014 post and realized that issues with my husband (nothing dramatic, but the whole not-communicating-well, not feeling connected) may be driving some of my night time eating. Everything is so connected.
anyways, you should be so so proud of yourself, what you are doing is not easy and you are killing it!
