We are at the Exotic Driving Experience at the Disney Speedway. Matthew and I are waiting for B to come out and drive a super car, the Nissan GTR. This isn’t a dream that I think B has even had, because I’m not sure he ever thought it would be possible. This is one of those things that you make your husband do as he’s vacillating back and forth on the cost. I was insistent!! There was no question in my mind – B was going to do this!
So here we are, waiting, and watching others ride along in a NASCAR, which Matthew thinks is pretty awesome!!!

Hi, there, I’m Courtney. I never planned to stay home with my kids, but I got sucked into motherhood when my first baby came into our lives after years of infertility and multiple rounds of IVF. His brother followed closely behind, something we didn’t plan on after having such a rough road with achieving parenthood the first time around. My boys are IVF cycle twins, conceived on the same day but born two years and one day apart (they were both transferred on the same day in October, but with two years between them). My boys are the best of friends and my husband is a terrific husband, father, and most importantly… friend. He fully supported my desire to stay home (“I just wanted it to be your idea and not mine, I totally want you to stay home and raise our kids!”) and encourages me in everything I do.
I am a lover of projects, spreadsheets, fitness, healthy cooking and eating, crafts, selling my stuff on FB (HA!), and the outdoors. If I’m active, I’m pretty darn happy!

Hahaha… just had a giggle at your typo. Was wondering why your husband was “vaccinating” anyone at this stage… then I realized you meant vacillating! Hope he enjoyed the ride!

When I asked B what his favorite part of the trip was, he asked if it was OK if he said the race track. HA! I said, “yes, that’s perfectly OK.” He is going to do it “next time we go, in 3 years.” Oh, how things have changed around here 😉

Ha! This is awesome! It’s also one of the great things about Disney – EVERYONE has fun because there are SO MANY things to do!

Looks like a great time! I think several of us are waiting on the “it can be done with a toddler” post:] Even when we were there and didn’t know if we would have kids, PC would always say “look at all those strollers… I could not do it!” Looks like a great time and such a nice way to spend time while you’re still a family of 3;] Any must do’s… ? Save travels home!

I need to get that post done. In the interim, let me just tell you what B said when I asked what he would do differently.
“Two things – next time, we do not take the big diaper bag – we’ll fit it all in a camelback. And we will NOT take the big stroller next time. Take those two things out, we would do it the same way again.”
So there you have it – buy an umbrella stroller and keep your daily bag to a minimum, and the DH is happy 🙂
