I spent the weekend going through Matthew’s old clothes and moving the things out of his closet that don’t fit anymore. This is always a sad exercise for me 😦 We went through and organized a bunch of his REALLY old stuff (0-12 months) and that was really tough on my heart. It made me wish for another little boy who can wear all of Matthew’s cute stuff 😉
I took a photo like this when we moved out his 6-12 month clothes. I wish I’d been doing this all along. I will continue to take these until he goes to college. HA!

Hi, there, I’m Courtney. I never planned to stay home with my kids, but I got sucked into motherhood when my first baby came into our lives after years of infertility and multiple rounds of IVF. His brother followed closely behind, something we didn’t plan on after having such a rough road with achieving parenthood the first time around. My boys are IVF cycle twins, conceived on the same day but born two years and one day apart (they were both transferred on the same day in October, but with two years between them). My boys are the best of friends and my husband is a terrific husband, father, and most importantly… friend. He fully supported my desire to stay home (“I just wanted it to be your idea and not mine, I totally want you to stay home and raise our kids!”) and encourages me in everything I do.
I am a lover of projects, spreadsheets, fitness, healthy cooking and eating, crafts, selling my stuff on FB (HA!), and the outdoors. If I’m active, I’m pretty darn happy!

Ugh, I feel like I just did this, but I’m suddenly realizing that Stella should really be wearing more of her 18mo stuff right now – time to get reorganized!! Love that pic on the laundry basket. 🙂

I just did this this past weekend too! He is pretty low on his current size! I might actually have to go out and like, buy him stuff finally! CRAZY!
If your fetus is a lady baby (which, my powers tell me it is) you can re-use a ton of stuff. Jules is a ninja at the mixed use wardrobe!

must have been THE weekend to do this. Finally got Raegan into some 12 month clothes and put her 9 month stuff away. Ironically, some of her 9 month stuff still fits her nicely. But she has all these 12 month clothes for the holidays/winter. I want her to be able to wear them. It kills me my tiny little girl is growing up so fast…and yet she’s still so freaking tiny. I love that part! LOL
The pic on the laundry basket is awesome. All of Raegan’s stuff is in space bags. I’m running out of room for all her old stuff….

I feel like I’m in constant flux with their clothes, pulling out ones they’ve outgrown and adding new ones to the mix all the time! It would be hard to do it all in one big sweep – MEMORIES.

These photos are adorable of him first of all! 🙂 And secondly… whoa!! That is alot of clothes. Lucky boy! 😉 It is always so hard to pack things away. Luckily Alidia is still tiny so I’ve only packed away the 0-3 month stuff so far but the 6 month stuff is getting close.

Cute! It is so hard to pack things away every few months! My least favorite parenting activity – i get so sad, and then there’s so much stuff to organize..not my forte! can’t wait to hear what baby no 2 is!

I need to do this desperately as Sofia’s clothes are busting out of her drawers and I end up putting her in the same thing over and over again because I can’t bother looking to the bottom of the drawer… Now if only I had somewhere to PUT the boxed-up clothes!!

Finding space for the old stuff is always the problem, isn’t it?
