Wordless Wednesday – Wagon!

Matthew screams now every time we go into, or out of, the garage without taking him for a ride in his wagon.  It’s quite hilarious because even his fit of rage is quite calm compared to other kids his age.  He’s so laid back, holy smokes!

I caved in today and took him for a LONG wagon ride (third ride of the day).  Happiness!

Hi, there, I’m Courtney. I never planned to stay home with my kids, but I got sucked into motherhood when my first baby came into our lives after years of infertility and multiple rounds of IVF. His brother followed closely behind, something we didn’t plan on after having such a rough road with achieving parenthood the first time around. My boys are IVF cycle twins, conceived on the same day but born two years and one day apart (they were both transferred on the same day in October, but with two years between them). My boys are the best of friends and my husband is a terrific husband, father, and most importantly… friend. He fully supported my desire to stay home (“I just wanted it to be your idea and not mine, I totally want you to stay home and raise our kids!”) and encourages me in everything I do. I am a lover of projects, spreadsheets, fitness, healthy cooking and eating, crafts, selling my stuff on FB (HA!), and the outdoors. If I’m active, I’m pretty darn happy!

  1. He kills me. HGB sits in his wagon totally expressionless. I love his shirt too!

  2. You’re such a good mama. I think I need to start scouring Craigslist for a wagon for Chloe.

    • I am a sucker. HA! The problem with the wagon is that he now hates the stroller. And I’m not taking the wagon to the mall 😉

      • Ooh, good point! Ya know, when we ventured out to the mall on Monday, we saw a couple pushing their toddler on one of those cars with the handle behind it thing, know what I’m talking about? I thought it looked really odd, but maybe it’s the same thing – the kid doesn’t like the stroller anymore.

  3. I was just considering a wagon like this earlier today! They’re 20% off through Bab.ies.R.Us. Do you find it’s useful to have that AND a stroller, though? How do you use one versus the other?

    • Yes, yes, yes! The wagon is for neighborhood jaunts, and we’d take it to the farmer’s market (haven’t yet) so that he can look around and interract more with people. The stroller is for indoor use and things like the zoo, because of the maneuverability. The wagon can be hard to maneuver.

      We LOVE this wagon!

    • I have both. I use the wagon for the ‘hood, the park, the library and the farmers market. They really can look around a lot AND are ridiculously adorable!

  4. Love it! I see a wagon in our future, too. 🙂

  5. This is so cute! I definitely will need a wagon soon…
