CD1, that is. It is officially tomorrow since it was so late tonight when it started. I am like clock-work, ladies. 28 days on the freaking nose!
When I spoke with the nurse a few weeks ago, she told me that a typical FET cycle is 42 days. If that is the case, we will be transferring on/around October 9th. The early part of October has always been good to us. On October 7, 2009, we met with our wonderful RE for the first time. On October 7, 2010, we retrieved the batch of eggs that gave us Matthew. On October 12, 2010, we transferred Matthew back to where he belonged. Let’s hope October 9-ish, 2012, is good to us as well!
Here we go!*
* Unless, of course, the proposed transfer date falls during the week that our clinic is closed for their annual conference. I’ll know more soon!

Hi, there, I’m Courtney. I never planned to stay home with my kids, but I got sucked into motherhood when my first baby came into our lives after years of infertility and multiple rounds of IVF. His brother followed closely behind, something we didn’t plan on after having such a rough road with achieving parenthood the first time around. My boys are IVF cycle twins, conceived on the same day but born two years and one day apart (they were both transferred on the same day in October, but with two years between them). My boys are the best of friends and my husband is a terrific husband, father, and most importantly… friend. He fully supported my desire to stay home (“I just wanted it to be your idea and not mine, I totally want you to stay home and raise our kids!”) and encourages me in everything I do.
I am a lover of projects, spreadsheets, fitness, healthy cooking and eating, crafts, selling my stuff on FB (HA!), and the outdoors. If I’m active, I’m pretty darn happy!

Eeek!! This is exciting! I hope October is good to you guys!! It was for us, as well, back in 2010! Our IUIs for Sofia were October 8&9th!
When is their anual conference? Couldn’t they adjust your cycle with the meds for the FET? I might be making that up, but I thought with FETs they can control almost everything. Are you taking BCPs first?

Woot!!! So exciting! 🙂 October sounds perfect. And I’m extremely jealous that you’re a 28 days like clockwork kinda gal, since I’m a “my uterus does whatever the hell it wants” person. Ha!

Yes, but where has my clockwork gotten me? NOT PREGNANT. HA!

Oh wow! How exciting! I have my transfer on October 5. I’m very hopeful that early October is very good for FET’s!!!
August 28, 2012 at 6:55 pm
Good luck to you!
I’m not counting on this cycle to work, honestly. We’ve had every stroke of bad luck when it comes to IVF/FET with perfect graded embryos, so I’m viewing this as my ramp-up cycle 😉

OMFG! It’s go time! I am so excited for you guys. October 12 is my Nan’s birthday – and my Nan rules! 🙂

SO cool! October is my favorite month- my birthday is the 13th, and Grayson was due on the 7th of 2010! I have a great feeling about this October for you!

You should check in with Keiko at The Infertility Voice– she’s on CD3 of a DE IVF cycle so you guys are kinda cycle buddies 🙂
