B had to go to the Minneapolis office yesterday so we made the trip up with him. We stopped in to see the cool stuff going on there and Matthew got his own visitor’s badge. Good stuff! Then, we were down to one vehicle today so Matthew and I had to pick B up from work this afternoon. We stopped in to see the team and stretch our legs.

Hi, there, I’m Courtney. I never planned to stay home with my kids, but I got sucked into motherhood when my first baby came into our lives after years of infertility and multiple rounds of IVF. His brother followed closely behind, something we didn’t plan on after having such a rough road with achieving parenthood the first time around. My boys are IVF cycle twins, conceived on the same day but born two years and one day apart (they were both transferred on the same day in October, but with two years between them). My boys are the best of friends and my husband is a terrific husband, father, and most importantly… friend. He fully supported my desire to stay home (“I just wanted it to be your idea and not mine, I totally want you to stay home and raise our kids!”) and encourages me in everything I do.
I am a lover of projects, spreadsheets, fitness, healthy cooking and eating, crafts, selling my stuff on FB (HA!), and the outdoors. If I’m active, I’m pretty darn happy!

Minneapolis is “home” for me! I’m a Minnesota girl. You guys are driving traveling champs. It took every trick in the book to keep Mira from screaming the whole way to the airport yesterday in the car seat (though to be fair, she’s almost never in the car, so I can only imagine what goes through her head on the rare occasions she’s strapped down).
I can’t imagine casually driving from Iowa to Minnesota. It seems like you had a great time. Mathew is so utterly adorable.

Thanks! And don’t be fooled – Matthew is not the best car traveler. We always drive when he’s napping. If we didn’t do that, we would not travel. HA!
I love, love, LOVE Minnesota!

That must be fun for everyone in the office, to have a little one stop by 🙂

There are so few folks in the office, but when there are people there, they enjoy the visits. They’ve seen Matthew at work since he was 5 days old, so everyone knows him quite well. It’s fun!

Thanks! No apologies necessary. I’m way behind on everyone’s news as well. Busy times!
